Haptics Class Projects
Professor Kuchenbecker's MEAM 625 class includes a semester-long project that students conduct in small teams. The goal of the project is create a haptic system that builds on the concepts taught in the course and achieves something new in the field of haptics. Students are free to pursue work in any area that interests them, and their project may include mechanical design, electronics, and/or software (often all three). KJK works with each team over the course of the semester, and the projects are all exhibited in a public Haptics Open House during the last week of classes. Students document their project with wiki pages, which you can access below.
